Why PF Chang’s is Worth the Visit

The eatery is set to open its doors in Karachi very soon

For those who have had the PF Chang’s experience, and loved it – the Karachi chapter has been a long time coming. The restaurant chain famous around the world for its signature Dynamite Prawns, Lettuce Wrap and Mongolian Beef, is finally set to open its doors to the public.

Located in Clifton, right next to the flagship Khaadi outlet, the space is big and bright. On two levels, the Karachi branch even hosts its own Pastry Lab, which will churn out the restaurant’s impressive desserts, including the

absolutely decadent and not to be missed Great Wall of Chocolate.

The menu is universal and will be familiar for those who have tried the food elsewhere. For those who haven’t, here’s really the best way to sum it up – comfort food at its best. Almost all the dishes are packed with the kind of fusion pan-asian flavour we have come to know that Pakistanis crave and love.

We would definitely recommend checking the place out. Aside from the stellar signature dishes mentioned above, the Chicken Dumplings and Fried Rice are also, both excellent choices to order.

The only concern, of course, is whether the restaurant will remain consistent in food quality and if it will be able to garner repeat customers, based on a combination of quality of food and price points. The place will also need to work out issues in some of their seafood offerings, such as the Calamari, which was rather bland.

However, there’s no denying that PF Chang’s has massive potential to become one of the go-to eateries for Karachiites. Time will tell if it lives up to that potential, but for now – bump it to the top of your list of new places to try out.
